Turn Guttenberg off!!

  Hello, can anyone please let me know how we can turn Guttenberg off? Our team has been using WordPress for a long time and we, unfortunately, hate this update. It’s a terrible experience and we’re actually shocked it was released. If we wanted to be like Wix or Medium we would use those platforms. It’s to the point that we consider leaving WordPress. Sorry for the negative feedback but it’s really frustrating since its now forced on people with no option to keep the format we all like.

  Can you please let us know how we can turn it off?

  Hey @adam1202181,

  To switch to the classic editor, click on the ‘. . .’ settings icon in the upper right corner of the editing screen.

  Then, click on Switch to Classic Editor.

  @adam1202181 If you are you talking about a site here at WordPress.com then the above instructions apply. If you have a site elsewhere using the WordPress.org software you’ll need to install the classic editor plugin.
