Turn off cheerleading sidebar?

  Is there any way to turn off the sidebar that pops up after every post? I find it incredibly annoying. I do not want to be cheered on for every post I make, I’m not 10 years old and I don’t need that kind of encouragement. Its more likely to send me off to Blogger or somewhere equally NOT as otherwise good as WordPress.

  Yes, you can turn it off. On your Dashboard, go to Users, and then “Personal Settings”.
  Remove the check for “show the feedback and progress sidebar after posting”.

  OH thank god!! I looked all round dashboard and could not see that. Thank you thank you thank you. Going to blogger seemed all wrong!
