Turn off e-mail to followers on new article

  Hi,

  I’d like to split a very long article in five smaller ones and one summary article. Since my followers already did read the long article (I hope at least ;)) I don’t want to bother them with six (!) e-mails because I split up an article.

  I’d like to turn these e-mails off for a few hours and turn it on again. I cannot find a solution but I can’t imagine it is not supported.

  Hi there. It is not possible to turn off email notifications. That’s because this is completely controlled by your followers. Only they can determine whether or not and how regularly they receive email notifications. You cannot change their preferences for them.

  What you could try is to publish those posts as private posts. I want to remember notifications don’t go out for private posts. Then you can set those posts to public after they’ve been published.
