Turn off email Notifications

  I did check the forum and help center before asking this question, so sorry if this was easy.

  Is there a way to stop email notifications from WP when someone likes/follows your blog. It’s annoying to receive ten emails when I can simply check into WordPress and see for myself.

  Yes, you can do this.

  Change your settings here > Settings > Discussion
  E-mail me whenever
  Anyone posts a comment
  A comment is held for moderation
  Someone likes one of my posts
  Someone reblogs one of my posts
  Someone follows my blog

  Then go here > http://wordpress.com/#!/read/edit/
  Click http://wordpress.com/#!/read/edit/
  Go to “Get new posts by email”
  Select “Never”
