Turn Off Form Response Spam Filter
-
Hello,
On my website I have a contact form. When people submit something into the form, it sends me an email. The problem is that WordPress often thinks that a form response is spam, when it really isn’t, and so it throws it into a list of spam messages, and doesn’t send me a notification. I want WordPress to notify me of every form response, and then I can decide if it is spam or not, because the Form Responses often doesn’t judge correctly. Is there anyway to turn off the spam filter, or just send me a notification of every form response? If anyone can help me, I would really appreciate it.
Thanks!WP.com: Yes

Hey there, I don’t know of a way to turn off spam filtering to the contact form, but I want to say if you approve / unspam them, the filter will learn.
I don’t see any spammed items currently, so have you been unspamming them? Can you let us know which items were spammed, too, so we may be able to spot patterns with them?

Hello.
Thank you for your reply. Yes, If a comment isn’t spam, then I hit the “not spam” button, to tell it that it’s not spam. But after I do that, it puts it back in the spam section, when I click on the “check for spam” button. So I just delete it when it does that again. Because I don’t want the spam section to pile up with messages that are actually not spam. But when I hit the “not spam” button, it then sends me an email of the persons message. So I can then reply through email, to the person who contacted me. Hopefully over time it will learn what is spam and what isn’t, as you said.Thank you for your help.
