Turn off menu hover and how to force menu choice on mobile
-
I am having 2 problems with the mobile version of the site I’m creating. I’m using the Modern News theme and mobile theme is enabled.
1. Is there a way to turn off hover for the menus on mobile devices? The hover feature is great on a PC, but not on an iPad…it won’t let me select a menu item on iPad and the mobile menu only appears on an iPhone, not an iPad.
2. Is there a way to force a mobile device to choose a particular menu to display? On an iPhone, it’s showing the secondary navigation menu, but I want it to show the primary navigation menu.
Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi there, the first think I would suggest is to disable the Mobile Menu. Dynamic News is a responsive theme that is designed to work with all screen sizes, clear down to phone size and to present your content in the most clear and legible way. I would suggest disabling the mobile and then visit your site on your phone and see what you think. You may need to clear the browser cache on your phone as they typically rely heavily on caching to reduce bandwidth usage.
Let me know what your thought are after trying this.
