Turn off the comment from my blog's main page only

  I really tried hard to find the info in your site. I followed the steps several times to no avail. My goal: is to turn the comment “off” from the main page. For the supporting pages, I welcome comments. I have done it before. It’s a bit tricky. But, I forgot what I did. Please send the info. I will save it in my folder this time.thanks..Steve
