Turn on 'excerpts'

    Hello,

    I feel like I’m taking crazy pills. I enabled the ‘excerpt’ view on an old theme, I now want to use a new theme (it can sort ‘excerpts’ it says) but I cannot find the option within the settings or customisation menus to turn it on. I know I found the option a few days ago but I cannot find it now on the old or the new theme. I now about the more tag and the auto-excerpt plugins, I just want to find this setting again.

    Sorry but you are in the wrong place. These forums are only for blogs/sites hosted by WordPress.com

    WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and different http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    And you should ask in the WordPress.org forums.
    http://wordpress.org/support/
    (or the Godaddy support)
    If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums, you’ll need to register one there.

    Thanks for the advice, I assumed because I was able to link my wp.com account to my domain service there would be some cross over
