Turn Smileys off

  Hey!
  I have a big problem!!!
  I want to turn off the Smileys on my page.
  I click Admin->Settings->Writing and then I disable ““Convert emoticons … to graphics on display””!!
  Then I click “Save Changes” and then it comes “Blog, whose member you are”. -.-‘

  Can you help me, please! Thanks in advance!

  There are four roles that you can assign to people who you want to blog with: Administrator, Editor, Author, and Contributor.See here for what they do and cannot so. http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/ Are you an Administrator of the blog in question? if not then contact the Administrator and make your request to them. If you are an Admin and changing the setting does not work then you will need Staff help. http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/
