Turning comments off for the already published posts.

  Hi everybody;
  I want to temporarily disable comments for the whole blog entries but I can’t find an option for this :(

  Instructions @ <href=”http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/10/23/post-options-discussion/” target=”_blank”>Post Options – Discussion works only for the new posts not the already published !

  Any idea about doing this without editing each post/page individually without preventing visitors/web spiders from reading/indexing them ?

  You can take the whole blog private or edit posts one by one, but those are your only options as far as I know.
