Turning off Blog Followers

  If I would like to ONLY allow follower via email is there a way that I can turn off blog followers? Can you provide a link that has step-by-step instructions for doing so if available.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi Karen,

  It’s not possible to disable blog followers, short of making the site private completely. WordPress.com followers can either choose e-mail or not, as well as the Reader at WordPress.com.
