Turning off Follow tab
-
Is there a way to turn off the follow tab at the bottom of each blog (the ones that non-WP.com users see). Or at least turn off the feature that says how many followers you have?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Yes. You can deactivate the number of subscribers/followers by opening the Blog subscriptions widget and using the setting there.

Setting aside the Subscribe widget, and liking the Follow tab a lot, is it possible to give a link (eg a graphic button) the same function as clicking the follow tab?
Clicking that graphic button would make the Follow tab rise up and be ready for orders.
Why? An @ button could go by our t and f buttons at midwaysurf.com – and the directing text beneath them could go. Thanks.

If you would like to suggest that to Staff you can do so by posting a thread into the Ideas Forum. > https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/ideas#postform

Thanks tt I’ll take that as a ‘no’.
Before putting it forward as a change I’d prefer to see whether there are easy arguments for or against that I haven’t thought of.
