Turning off having to confirm email to subscribe

  Hello,

  Is there a way to turn off the rule that people must confirm their subscription by email? It is getting annoying as people constantly forget to do it and forget to sign up..

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi. No, and from personal experience, it’s a good thing actually: it protects the email holder from unauthorized subscriptions and it protects WordPress.com from undue spam claims. In fact, most subscription services work that way now.
