I want to end all hyphenation on posts and pages. I used this css:
/*
.entry-meta { display: none;}
.site-content article, .widget-area .widget {
word-wrap: normal;
-webkit-hyphens: none;
-moz-hyphens: none;
hyphens: none;*/Sample of problem post is here

Hi there!
I am not seeing any hyphens in the post that you linked to. Here’s a screenshot:
Either way, the CSS you currently have here:
https://gourmetmushrooms.wordpress.com/wp-admin/customize.php#css
…is actually commented out with the slashes and asterisks (see how it’s all green?). To really put those CSS rules into effect, you’ll need to replace that with this code:

I’m no expert at CSS though, so I can’t say exactly what effect that code will have on your site.
Let me know if there’s anything else I can help with. :) Thanks!

I pasted in your suggested css, but I am still getting hyphenation. Depending on screen there is either no hypenation, or ex-
tremely awk-
ward hyphenation, :-) -
Try replacing the CSS you used earlier with this:

That should fix it for you. :)

BINGO! You get the prize. I’m sure lots of other users will be happy to have this available. That’s for your help.

One thing to note, however, is that the specific CSS needed to disable hyphens may change with each theme.
When in doubt, it’s always best to ask over in our CSS Customization forum:

Thanks!
