Turning off responsive theme

  • Unknown's avatar

I am working on a simple website for a client (www.mentoringinaction.com) and unfortunately I made the mistake of selecting a responsive theme (Goran). Everything else is working fine, but I really dislike the responsive theme because unless you are viewing at full width (even on a desktop) it automatically changes to a mobile menu. There is no need for a mobile feature to this site.

I would like to simply stop the mobile menu from popping up. I have tried changing the width of the responsive settings and I have tried deleting “<meta name=”viewport” content=”width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0″ />” from the header.php.

    Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!!

    Hello there,

We don’t provide support for any blogs other than those hosted by WordPress.COM and that site is not one of them.

WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support forums. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.
