Turning off shop features

  Hello! I’ve changed my mind where I want to run this site just as a blog, but I don’t know how to turn off the shop feature after it’s been turned on. Can you help?

  Thanks for writing to us. It looks like you just need to update the home page so that your blog posts publish there. You will want to edit that page as well to remove the actual “products” as well.

  The setting to publish your blog posts on the front page is the first option here: https://iangenuity.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-reading.php Right now, it’s set to display a static front page, and you’ll select the other option to have your posts display there instead.
  
  It’s not an issue to keep both a blog and a store together on the same site. The blog’s content will help you with SEO for picking up customers and sales. Can you share more about why you’re choosing to move forward with out the store?
