Tweaking colours for blogs?

  • Unknown's avatar

    I’m wanting to set up another couple of blogs, and would like them to look very much the same as mine but a bit different in case that makes any sense!
    I’m using the rather lovely Quentin at the mo’ and was thinking about simply tweaking the colours, I’ve got no idea about CSS so I’m guessing I’d have to…
    Purchase the CSS Custom thingamujig, and then learn how to tweak the code, so basically before I do that;
    Is it possible to make these tweaks, and how easy is it to learn how to do the tweaks, is there a good place to learn these little bits of code?
    Cheers!

    If you don’t know CSS, don’t buy the upgrade, because you are on your own with it. There’s no “ask questions, get answers” service for CSS.

    Instead, learn CSS and play with the free Preview feature. Then, when you know you can do the transformations you want, buy the upgrade then. There are references here:

    Alternately, you could use a theme that’s somewhat customizable like Vigilance and just change the background colour and headers.
