Tweaking Seedlet Theme
-
After many years of being happy with my theme, I found out today that my previous theme has resigned and I was forced to change it. With the help of a WP engineer, I was able to customize Seedlet and the homepage looks better, but there are a few things seriously bugging me. I spent over 4 hours trying to fix it but I can’t. I tried to inspect the elements with Chrome and then tweak the CSS but I don’t have coding skills. Please help me out if you can. I’ll list the things I want to fix below:
1. The blog’s title cannot be minimized for some reason. I tried minimizing it from 50 rem to 30. It worked for a few seconds and then it stopped working. Not sure why. I was given the code by the engineer and not sure if perhaps I changed something in it by mistake.
2. The space between the primary menu and the posts container is seriously bugging me. I don’t know how to minimize this space. I tried putting a quote block as you can see and I also added social buttons but there’s still plenty of space left.
3. I want to add the post categories under the blog post’s featured images before or after the title. It would be great if I can change their color to match the accent.
4. I want to put the “SHOW MORE” button at the bottom centered in the middle
5. When I click on a post, the featured image of the post is HUGE! I would like to minimize it.
Thank you in advance 🙏🏻

Hi there,
I see you’re currently being helped via email, so I’m going to mark this thread as resolved so we don’t duplicate effort or give you conflicting code for these changes.
I see Ann replied to you via email a little while ago, so please reply there if you have any further questions :)
