tweet button – seeing the retweets
-
Hi there – grateful for advice. The twitter button shows the number of times a post has been tweeted by someone visiting my blog, but is it possible to see the actual tweets? I think this facility was available before? I can see on my posts that they have been tweeted, but a search of Twitter finds nothing.
Many thanks for your time.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If someone has clicked your post’s tweet button, I believe that your twitter username shows up in the tweet (if you’ve linked your account), so you’d see it as a mention.
Of course it’s possible they’ve altered the tweet that’s generated when clicking, but the shortlink should stay the same. You could try an advanced search.

Hi, thanks very much for the reply.
Yep, i’ve searched Twitter for both my twitter name and the shortlink and nothing comes up.

A-ha! i have discovered that if you use the ‘Official’ button for Twitter (via the sharing page), then it shows the number of times the post has been tweeted – when you click on the number, it takes you to a twitter search.
Sadly the search STILL doesn’t show who has tweeted the post!
