Tweet Embedding

I will go ahead and embed a tweet through the add media button as you’re supposed and it will work. Then sometimes an hour to a day later, it will stop working and just show as a link. Just wondering if there’s anything I can do to stop this.

On WordPress.com sites you embed tweets by pasting in the URL of the tweet on its own line in a post or page. You do not use the Add Media button to do it. See the link @stefbarz gave above.
Can you please specify which site in your account you need help with, and also give a link to the exact post or page where you’re embedding a Tweet that’s not working?

Regardless whether done through the add media button or adding a tweet as its own line, it still ends up working at that time and then not showing up later on.

Thanks for the link. That site is not on WordPress.com, so our embed instructions won’t work on that site. I also don’t have any access to that site to check what might be wrong.
If you’re using a plugin for Twitter embeds the best option would be to contact the developer of that plugin. If it’s the Twitter embed code that’s not working, Twitter support is the best place for help, though it can also be a caching problem on the site in which case you’ll need to contact the hosting provider.
You can also try the self-hosted WordPress forums, but I’m not sure how much they’d be able to help in this case:
