Tweet This button uses wrong name
-
When someone clicks the “tweet this” button at the bottom of my posts, it links to my personal twitter account, @NCSUSaunders, but I would like it to direct to my blog twitter account, @ncfoodlaw.
In other words, the box currently comes up and says, e.g.: “Food Truck Regulations Throughout North Carolina’s Research Triangle: http://wp.me/p2bl3J-B via @NCSUSaunders” but it needs to say “Food Truck Regulations Throughout North Carolina’s Research Triangle: http://wp.me/p2bl3J-B via @ncfoodlaw”
I’ve already cleared my cookies and deactivated/reactivated my twitter link while logged into Twitter as @ncfoodlaw. Any ideas?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Sorry, it’s http://ncfoodlaw.wordpress.com/
When you go to the only post there, it’s the embedded twitter sharing link at the bottom.
-
It actually SHOULD say “via @wordpressdotcom” so you must have done something to customize that. What have you done?
Which is set as your primary blog, by the way?

This is the only blog I have. NCSUSaunders is just a Twitter account. I registered ncfoodlaw.wordpress.com and the ncfoodlaw Twitter account at the same time.
As far as what I’ve done… wow, I wish I knew. I enabled Twitter under sharing settings, but beyond that I don’t know what it could have been. I thought that was there from the start. Would it work to make a custom “Available Service,” recreate the Twitter button, and use that instead?

Hmm, I wonder if WordPress is tinkering with the way things work.
It will not ever say “via @ncfoodlaw” if there is no @ncfoodlaw account, though. Is there one? Otherwise it seems to just be pulling the attribution from your twitter account.
-
Yeah, there is an account. http://www.twitter.com/ncfoodlaw
It seems like the problem is that I was logged into my personal account when I initially authorized the blog to link up with Twitter, and somehow that attribution stuck. I thought deactivating/clearing cookies/logging into Twitter as ncfoodlaw/reactivating would have done the trick, but no such luck.
I’ll keep messing with it; maybe it just takes some time for the changes to take effect. Thanks for your time, anyhow.
