Tweetmeme retweet button
-
Twitter widget is not important as Tweet tool, I contacted wordpress asking them to help us develop a simple HTML code for Tweet. We are missing important feature :(
May be the only solution to have workable Tweet is to include Java.
Thanks,

Sorry, you said it works! How is that?
When you click tweet, you referred to Twitter page and there:
The link is broken & the post title is nothing so you have to copy it by yourself!
Did you use the code at your blog so I check it?

After some more playing, I found that if you replace the
<URL>with the URL of your blog or a blog post, then the link when you get to twitter does link back to your blog, but it still displays as something like http://su.pr/1sfbVJ . Also, the count does not increase when you click and post tweets about the blog. -
tweetmeme’s instructions on this whole thing are abysmal at best and the HTML code is simply not working as it should.

As an aside/meantime note, the “AddThis” button includes a Twitter option, which does allow you to “tweet” a blog posting.
-
@bubel You have to write the post title and your blog because it doesn’t show that!
Waste of time :( Here is example of add this: http://bit.ly/lKfEs via @addthis
The same thing for AddtoAny
Only Tweet can handle amazing tweeting.

GetSocial is far easier than trying to stay loyal to “Tweetmeme”.
GetSocial is explained here:
http://hillelstoler.com/2009/02/26/getsocial-103/And tips on GetSocial:
http://teckline.wordpress.com/2008/07/19/how-to-use-get-social-for-wordpresscom/
and a video on how to use it:
http://teckline.wordpress.com/2008/09/05/getsocial-video-tutorial/Since implementing GetSocial, my hits have gone up 20%: Twitter is my #1 referrer, and Facebook is my #2
-
1 – It doesn’t compress the URL.
2 – It doesn’t have my blog name.
3 – It doesn’t have counter.
Tweet me can save us time or may be your tool if you include the above things.
Still wondering, why wordpress team is not working on this issue?
Thanks,
-
Uh, do you HAVE a blog hosted here? The site linked to your name is not a WP.com blog.
WordPress is a blogging platform. As tsp said, the problem lies somewhere with Tweetmeme.

My blog hosted at wordpress.com @ brandingpower.wordpress.com
It seems the only solution is waiting the code from Tweetmeme :(
Thanks,
