Tweets in posts

I’m trying to get to grips with this new tweet-in-post concept. It says to post the URL of the tweet I want to post into a single line. I get that bit, but how do I obtain that URL in the first place?
If I go to twitter.com and click on a tweet, it doesn’t take me to a new page like it used to, but opens it up on the right-hand side of the page. The URL in the address bar remains the same.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Got it. It’s not entirely obvious, but clicking on the link that says how long ago the tweet was made gives the URL. I found this on youtube:

Thanks for posting. As this is a brand new deature that’s just been announced I doubt that any Volunteers answering forum questions have had the time to try using it as yet.

I have never used tweetshots but just looked it up. Your can post to Tumblr, Twitter, Facebook, Email or Embed in Blog. Cool!

This new WP feature is freaking phenomenal!! I have a question though. Considering this is based on a tweet’s permalink, will my new generated screencap ever get deleted if the person deletes that tweet, if the person deletes their account, or if the account gets banned? I can’t post screencaps of tweets if they end up getting deleted.

No, the image is hosted outside Twitter, so the link will go to a 404 page, but the image will stay up as long as the service hosting the image does.
I use that trick when fighting on Twitter with people who delete their tweets afterwards, like this one:
Introducing Nicole Dobernig: there’s a reason it’s called TWITter!

Hm, has anyone successfully posted a tweet with this? All I’m getting in a Post preview window is the URL on a line but no tweet.
Ah, updated following Nick’s explanation here http://en.blog.wordpress.com/2010/11/05/bring-tweets-to-your-content/#comment-108913
