I have seen the same on my blog when I have a picture in a post. The picture frame can disappear on one side sometimes. Not very often, but it happens.
-
Here is an example. (It is a post about Thailand banning YouTube).
I should make a smaller picture instead. I doesn’t look good. :-D))))

The yellow background image in this post is too large and it’s breaking the lay-out. In K2 the maximum size in the blogging space is 500 pixels

You will have to delete the existing image from the post and from uploads then reduce the size of the image accordingly and upload the smaller replacement image. Be sure to give the replacement image a unique name prior to uploading. -
layout shouldn’t be broken, image should be resized automatically, like in 2813 and WP Default themes.

This maybe so but I just tried this on my test blog in K2 lite. The image was not “resized” it was simply chopped of. However, by editing and dragging a diagonal corner to reduce the size the image fit properly into the blogging space with no problem.
I suppose you can wait for a fix or you can do what I did and solve the problem immediately. I’ll leave it to you to make the choice.

I should reduce the image of cause, you are right about that, timethief. But the real problem is the bug. Not just an old post. :-D
I just wrote in this thread in order to tell, that the bug shows itself in more ways than one.
And that is why I went to my blog to get the link to that post. :)

I had hoped for and answer from WordPress to this question. But ok, it is a hectic day for all the staff members today. Perhaps the matter will be looked into later?
