Twenty Eleven – different image at top of each page.

Hi There, Im using the Twenty Eleven theme for my blog https://jordirobertma.wordpress.com/
I’m having problems with the ‘featured image’ and ‘Header image’. I’m confused with this two concepts and how they work. What I want to achieve is to be able to choose a different image at the top of each page.
Please can you help me to achieve this?

    Thank you

  • Hi @jordirobertphoto, for this theme, the header will be the default image, unless you have a large enough featured image set.

You have not specified featured images in the posts / pages I checked. Can you go ahead and try setting the featured images, and let me know if you need more help? Your images appear to be large enough.

    Hi Supernovia
Thank you, I think the problem was having the right image size.

please can you tell me the difference between “customise/header image” and “edit/featured image”?

    Thank you

  • In this theme, the header image is for the whole site.

Featured images are for individual posts and pages. If a post or page does not have a featured image, it will use the site-wide header image instead.
