Twenty Eleven Dropdown acting erratic

  Okay, getting very very frustrated here. I’m using the twenty eleven theme, and only from the web, not the software.

  I create a page for Book Categories, and create child pages for genre. Everything works great. I go back to the home page coming from another page, and only two categories show up on the 5 that I made. I change them to draft and re-publish and they show up. I navigate away, they disappear….what is going on here??

  At the time of this post. I see only two dropdown boxes….there should be:
  Fantasy
  Flash Friday
  Science-Fiction (Star Wars as an offshoot of this one)
  Video Game

  It shows only Flash Friday and Science-Fiction, with no off shoot to star wars

  I’m not sure what to do.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I dont’ get this at all and I’m beating my head against a wall.

  ANY time I navigate away…even as a user that’s just viewing the site externally, the drop boxes will go away except for Flash Friday and Science-Fiction. They will be there, you go to one of the pages, and they will disappear…HOW?

  Again, I’m only using the web to edit and using the parent/child page thing.

  Now parent menus are disappearing….to make things clear…I did NOTHING to change it. I just navigated away from the page.

  Is there something going on with WordPress??
