Twenty Eleven Featured Post Issue

  I am trying to establish by blog to look similar to this one:

  http://svenseebeck.com/

  It has the featured posts on top that span the entire page from left to right with the little dots on the right to shift between sticky posts.

  I cannot figure out how to do this. The closest I can come is what I currently have, found below:

  Any idea how I can accomplish this?
