Twenty-eleven home page with showcase format: how to eliminate recent posts

  Check out my site danstrode.com.

  I’m trying to figure out how to eliminate the ‘recent posts’ from the home page. I have set ‘home’ as my home page and another page as my ‘blog’ page. I thought this would have solved this problem, but ‘recent posts’ still appear on my home page.

  Any help or custom css you have would be appreciated.

  It seems you’ve used the Showcase page template for your homepage and that’s what you’ll need to remove. See the Theme’s explanation under “multiple layouts” http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/twentyeleven/
