Twenty Eleven image slider

  Hi,

  I want to put an automatic timed photo slider on Twenty Eleven (not on header) and although I’ve downloaded a couple, they don’t seem to work.

  I’m a bit computer challenged so maybe I’m doing something wrong

  That’s not possible on a free hosted WordPress.com blog. There is no FTP access and you cannot install any plugins.

  The themes that have featured posts image sliders are here http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/features/post-slider/ In most of the themes with featured post sliders, like Twenty Eleven visitors have to click to advance the slider to the next featured post. Some themes have a featured post slider that automatically advances: Debut, Currents, Linen, On Demand, Modularity Lite, Sight. (the first 4 are premium themes) and the last one is a free theme.

  Thank you so much for your very clear response.

  Plan B, With the Twenty Eleven, is it possible eliminate dates, posts etc in the sidebar and instead put photo thumbnails with a title or is that off the wall?
