Twenty Eleven Not Displaying Summary On Home Page

  I have my Twenty Eleven theme set to display summary for posts on the home page but it’s still showing the full content.

  I know I can change it in the content.php file but is there something I can do aside from changing the code?

  It’s been this way as long as I can remember. In fact, it’s been like this on other installs for other sites of mine. I really like the Twenty Eleven theme but can’t use it with this issue.

  BTW…I’m not very tech savvy(understatement). I can follow directions well but I’m no good at coding, in any language.

  The Summary setting is not for the main blog page but for the RSS feeds. If you want to show just a summary on the main page, you need to use the MORE tag, the one that looks like a dotted line across a piece of paper.
