Twenty Eleven: preview question

I have a test blog at:
    http://t123123.wordpress.com
    and a production blog at:
    http://scvgs.org
Both are hosted at wordpress.com, and both use the Twenty Ten theme.

Live Preview of the Twent Eleven theme at the test blog works fine. At the production blog, Live Preview shows the “You are previewing Twenty Eleven” sidebar at left, but the right side (preview area) is blank.

The two blogs use the same theme but have different widgets. The production blog also has a custom header on one page that’s different from the other pages. Is the preview blank because the production blog uses some Twenty Ten feature that’s not supported in Twenty Eleven?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Themes Staff monitor threads and will help you as soon as they can.

  • Hi azscvgs,

I am able to view the Live Preview of Twenty Eleven for both of your sites, without any problem. Are you still seeing a blank preview area for your production site? If so, which browser are you using, and does the problem occur when you try to preview other themes as well?

Hey michiecat — yes, I noticed yesterday that I was able to get a Live Preview for both blogs. I realized my problem report was incomplete because I didn’t say how I got to the Live Preview. I wasn’t able to reproduce my own problem. — The browser was IE. I didn’t try other browsers or other themes to preview. Let’s forget about this one for now. Thanks for looking into it.
