Twenty Eleven slider without posts? / Different header image for each page?

Good day,
I have been reading the forum for a few hours now trying to find the answers to my question but with no success. I am trying to have a slider on the home page but WITHOUT having it linked to a STICKY post. Is this possible?
If it isn’t possible, is there a way to have a different header image on each page? I apologize if these questions are redundant but I could not find answers using the search option.

See here for an article that describes all features of the Twenty Eleven theme which is not designed to provide a sidebar on single posts when displayed on their own pages.
There is a difference between Custom Header Images and Featured Images. Although they happen to serve the same purpose in Twenty Eleven, they’re actually two separate functions, which is why they behave differently. The theme dimensions specify the dimensions of at least 1000 x 288 pixels for featured images.

Thank you for the information. I read through it, but I still don’t have an understanding on whether or not I can have the slider images generated without having to use sticky posts or how if it is possible to have a different header image with each page. I clicked on a link for featured headers (or something like that) only to be taken to the themes page with all of the themes.
