Twenty Eleven Theme – 2 questions
-
first question – my landing page (which serves as my blog page) is showing every single blog post on it, despite having it set to show only a few (2 or 3, can’t remember specifically). also, the footer isn’t showing up on the landing page anymore, either. both of these issues are recent and do not reflect any changes i’ve made. is there a glitch with this theme causing these types of things to happen?
second question – is it possible to have the title of the site on one of the pages read differently than how it reads on the landing and other pages?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That’s called “infinite scrolling” and on this page > Settings > Reading you will find an option to disable it so you can regain control of how many posts are displayed on the front page of your blog. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/to-infinity?replies=137

Infinite Scroll is a new feature. Note that you will only see the option to disable it if you have setup footer widgets on your Appearance → Widgets page.

The title is set once in the database. There is not a way to change a post title to be different on the home page compared to the individual posts page, for example. You can, however, give one label to a custom menu item and then have a different page title. Does this answer your question?

i figured such was the case re: changing the title from page to page; had to ask just in case.
