twenty eleven theme customize header with a branding image
-
Please tell me the CSS coding to use to insert a branding image in the header area. The size of the image and if it should be different sizes depending on the devise that is used to view the site.
I’m trying to coordinate two sites with the same theme. Marvelously Money Mad began 2013 and the theme has been updated since then. I would like it to agree with the new site.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
Twenty Eleven has builtin functionality that allows you to upload a header by navigating to My Sites > Customize > Header Image in WordPress.com. I can see that you already added a Header Image to tkeydel.wordpress.com via this route.
After taking a look over the other site you mentioned, financiallyfitandreadytogo.com, I can see that you added the following CSS to customise and add your logo there:
.one-column #page { max-width: 998px; min-width: 998px; } #branding #searchform { display: none; } #branding { background: #eee url('http://marvelouslymoneymad.files.wordpress.com/2013/03/branding-background239.jpg') no-repeat; }If you’d like tkeydel.wordpress.com to match this exactly, then you can head to My Sites, select the site you wish to customise, and then choose Customize in the left hand sidebar to reach the WordPress.com Customizer:
https://wordpress.com/customize/tkeydel.wordpress.com
From here, you can click the CSS tab and then copy the above CSS snippet into the resulting editor. You’ll need to remove the current Header Image to avoid duplicate logo also.
Let me know if this helps or if you have any extra questions. I’ll be happy to assist further.
