Twenty Eleven Theme – how to get rid of clunky text header
-
Hi all, on my site (SessionBassistOnline [dot] com), I’m using the Twenty Eleven theme, and I’d like to lose the text above the graphic header.
I’m not a genius with writing code, but I don’t mind getting my fingers dirty (i.e. I can edit PHP, HTML, CSS, once I know where to look). I’m brand noob to Word Press, though, and still learning my way around.
Also, it would be nice to widen the text a bit within the main body. If someone could point me in the right direction there.
It seems like these two items in particular (and much more) should be editable theme options. Pretty basic stuff in terms of themes…. *** feature request *** ?
Thanks!

Are you referring to the free hosted WordPress.com blog linked to your username? If you are then we cannot edit either themes or templates on free hosted WordPress.com blogs. Please read this support section on CSS editing and on the custom design upgrade which apply if you wish to make changes to appearance only, and not functionality.
