Twenty-Eleven Theme – lost navigation colour

  Hi

  I’ve set this theme up and I want to customise the navigation bar. In the original it was black, I tried to change it late last night, but now it does not show a colour at all. I’m not sure what I have done.

  I can’t find which but of CSS relates to that, I’m be happy if I could just return it to the original, then I could try and find it.

  Any help much appreciated.

  If you copied and pasted the whole style sheet into the CSS editor window, delete all of it, make sure “add to existing…” is checked and then save and it will return to the original. At wordpress.com pasting the entire style sheet into the edit window can have unexpected results. It is best to put only the specific selectors and the specific declarations that you are adding or changing into it. What you put into the edit window will overwrite the like stuff in the original style sheet.

  Once you get back to the original, then we can work on changing what you want.
