Twenty Fifteen Issue With Text Header Color

    Hi, let me say first off I’m new to this so bear with me please. :) I changed my theme to Twenty Fifteen this morning and when I uploaded my custom header, I also changed the default text color to #FFFFFF so my site title/links on the left can be seen over my Christmas tree. In the preview pane, the text is showing white the way it’s supposed to, but on my live site it isn’t. I did it twice to make sure I had “saved” the change, and I’ve also cleared out my history, cache, restarted etc. and the text is still showing grey and not white over my header. Can anyone help me figure out what I’ve done wrong? I would really appreciate any help.
