  i keep wondering why they don’t fix this theme. it should be full screen that is the only thing i feel is wrong with it. feels a little uneven.

  If you’d like to tweak the layout of Twenty Fourteen to be wider you can do that with custom CSS.

  Since Twenty Fourteen has been out for over a year and it’s one of the WordPress default themes, its layout and design aren’t going to change at this point. :)

  You could also feel free to choose a theme that takes up more screen real estate if you prefer.
