Twenty Fourteen centering

  I’m trying to edit my twenty fourteen theme so that all of the content is centred rather than aligned left so that it is always central regardless of screen size.

  I don’t know if this is possible, or what coding I need to include in the CSS editor. I have never used made any CSS edits before.

  An idiots guide on how to do this would be really useful.

  Hi Rachel, I’m seeing your content centered in the white area on http://racheltrieslife.com/ , and when I widen my browser window wider than the max-width set in the theme, there is equal areas of blue (body background) that shows on each side of your site. If I narrow my browser window down to the point where the sidebar on the left drops down below the content, the content is centered in my window.

  Can you explain a little further what you are wanting?

  I think I managed to fix it myself just from trial and error, learn by doing as they say. I wanted equal amounts of blue on both sides. Thank you for your quick response anyway, much appreciated!
