Twenty Fourteen demo is protected?

  The Twenty Fourteen theme is described at:
  https://wordpress.com/themes/twentyfourteen/
  At the right of the page is a “Demo” button. Clicking on this button gives the message:
  “http://beacondemo.wordpress.com/ is marked private by its owner.”
  I expect a theme to have a publicly available demo. Not always true?

  Yikes, sorry about that! The Twenty Fourteen page is linking to the wrong place. The link timethief gave you is the right link to the Twenty Fourteen demo, and I let our team know so we can fix the link on that Demo button.
