twenty fourteen disable header and sidebar on specific page
-
Hi,
I am trying to help one of the people that I have set up a site for in the past. So, the following does not relate to my sites.
In essence, is it possible in the twenty fourteen theme to disable the displaying of header and sidebars on a single specific page.
Thanks.
Brian

Hi Brian,
Can you tell us the URL of the site in question?
This should be possible using custom CSS, but we’ll only be able to help if the site is hosted on WordPress.com, and on the Premium Plan or higher, as free sites cannot use custom CSS.
If the site is built using the open source WordPress software at another hosting provider, and using the self-hosted version of this theme, then you need to post in the forum for that theme over on WordPress.org instead:

Gotcha. I can see that site is on the Premium plan. What is the title (or URL) of the page you are trying to not display a header on?
Also, since that site is upgraded, and live chat support is included as a perk of the Premium plan, you do not need to use the public community forums here. You are welcome to chat with us directly, which may lead to a faster resolution.
You can contact us here, and if a member of staff is online, then livechat will be available M-F 24hrs: https://wordpress.com/help/contact

Hi,
the page does not yet exist.
As it is not my site, it will be easier if I close this thread now and get the actual owner to contact you to progress it.
Thanks
Brian
