    Twenty Fourteen Ephemera Widget
    I can’t seem to get it to play a video I uploaded.
    First off: I uploaded a video as a post and was unable to find a way for it to automatically be added to my Video Page that is located on the left column.
    Secondly: I tagged it “video” and I also added the category “video” and it then doesn’t even show up on the right “content sidebar”. I checked the forum that gave the alternate site about Ephemera and nothing I have tried seems to be working.

    Hi there!

    I uploaded a video as a post and was unable to find a way for it to automatically be added to my Video Page that is located on the left column.

    To do this, you’ll want to use a category page as described here:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/category-pages/

    Currently, you’re using a page titled “Video”. The video category page will automatically include all posts tagged as video.

    It looks like this widget is currently limited to only display on posts that are in the video category. You can see it here:

    If you would like this widget to appear on all pages and posts, you will need to adjust the visibility settings as explained here:

    Okay so I got the Content Sidebar to display video on select pages and posts but now it only displays 1 (the same) video on all the selected pages even though I designated it to show up to at least 3 videos.

    Also I can’t seem to get the other widget in the Content Sidebar to show my Audio posts. The audio is being displayed using Soundcloud. Do I have to select a specific audio player for it to work in this widget? Or shouldn’t it automatically display whatever mechanism I used to play the music?

    Currently, you only have one video setup as a Video post:

    You have another post in the Video category, but the post format is still “Standard”:

    Once you change the format to “Video” it should begin displaying. You can read more on post formats here:

    I suspect this is the same issue as above (no posts in the audio post format). Can you try labeling some of your posts as the Audio format and see if they begin to appear?
