Twenty Fourteen: Hiding site title

    Hello!

Now that I added a header to our website with the logo and name and everything, I didnt want to see the name of the church also written in the primary menu nav bar. By erasing it, though, it also erased what used to appear as the “window/tab name” when browsing the website (Im sure there is a proper name for that but I cant think of it for the life of me right now).

My questions is this: is there any way to make the site title (and guideline, while we are at it) visible everywhere except on the primary menu and – for the tagline – above the secondary left sidebar menu?

Or better yet, is there any way to have the name show up ONLY when we scroll down past the header level ie when the primary menu bar “sticks” to the top of the screen?

Thanks so much for your excellent help!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there, you can do this without CSS by going to Appearance > Customize Site title and uncheck the box to display the site title and description and then save. You can then add in your site title and tagline at that location so that the search engines can see it.
