Twenty Fourteen Homepage Shows Entire Post. How to Limit to Excerpts?

  Twenty Fourteen is touted as a magazine style theme, yet doesn’t allow for excerpts on the home page. So, your entire post is published, which is not what a magazine theme should do. If there’s a solution to this, please let me know. Thanks.
