Twenty Fourteen: How to add spaces between images in the 'featured posts' grid?

  So I have my featured posts displayed in a grid on my homepage, but I am not a fan of how all the images are touching.

  Is it possible to add a space between them?

  Also I’m still trying to get my head around coding- sorry if this is a silly question!

  Try this:

  img.attachment-post-thumbnail.wp-post-image{
  	margin: 3px
  }

  It will definitely add space between the images but I’m not sure if we will also need to resize the photos so they all still fit on the page correctly.
