twenty fourteen slide bar for 6 posts

  hi
  I’ve just got the theme twenty fourteen, and it has a slide bar for 6 posts on the homepage but I don’t seem to be able to get this up, I’m very new at websites and only been playing about with it for a few days, but I liked the slide bar effect on the homepage, any ideas on how to get it working, thanks in advance.

  Hi,

  Instructions for setting up the featured content slider on Twenty Fourteen may be found in the “Featured Content and Featured Images” section of the Twenty Fourteen theme guide. The Twenty Fourteen demo includes a featured content slider with six featured posts.

  The path mentioned there, “Appearance > Customize,” refers to the Appearance menu in a WP-Admin dashboard and is incomplete. From the My Site interface, the path to where the feature content tag may be set is My Site(s) > Design > Customize > Featured Content > Tag name.

  Once you set a featured content tag, just assign that tag to each post (up to six) that you want to be featured in the slider.
