twenty fourteen slider not working

  Hi, I have a home page on my site and I want nothing to be on there but the slider and some things in the content sidebar. I think the content sidebar is not working because I might have that page set as full width. Would that also be the reason for the slider not working as well?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
