Twenty Fourteen Slider/Grid, how does it work?

  I just started a blog today for my nephew, and I have been able to add the sticky posts to the home page, but I would like to make them three separate images, rather than a slider.

  How do I make three sticky images at the top of the home page like this site – http://dailyslicemag.com/ ? And not like this – http://edjelley.com/

  By the way, thank you vikksimmons98 for your instructions. I had been wrestling with how to put the sticky posts on the home page until I read your post here.

  Ha! Figured it out.

  It’s the difference between a slider and a grid.

  Now I can sleep.

  Hi @timethief, I am not sure if this is the right forum for the issue I have for my blog , http://www.patelmerakicorner.wordpress.com , where I am having an issue with the home page, I want to make it look and appear like the demo site, where when a user clicks on home page they can go to the home page and not a different page.

  I did try and make it a static page but then I having a issue where you cant see the post which I have not showcased in the grid through using the sticky option.

  I would really appreciate your help.
