Twenty fourteen theme categories do not show on top of posts

I am using twenty-fourteen template. In my posts (http://centreforsocialjustice.wordpress.com/blogs/), as you can see, no categories appear on top of pages, as one can see them in the demo of the template. I tried moving “aside” to default, but category does not show up. I wonder what is wrong, or have made some change inadvertently?

As a rule, the Aside post format does not show categories or tags on the front page.

No that’s not true, justjennifer. I experimented with this by creating another blog with the template twenty-fourteen. Pls see http://counterbuzz.wordpress.com/blogs/
I think I have made some change inadvertently. I’m not a technical person.
