  I was only able to use the first four colour schemes marked as featured (see this screenshot: http://snag.gy/BEB0c.jpg). Any other colour scheme or trying to set individual colours give the message that I’m required to buy the upgrade.

  I thought to ask in case you found a way to use the other custom
  colors.

  Sorry, what I meant to say was not clearly stated within the themes which color schemes were changeable without an upgrade.
